About
Audra Potz
I believe the therapeutic relationship is special. I understand it is a big step to enter into to treatment. The work can be powerful. It may be tough at times, but it is definitely worthwhile. We often feel "stuck" in our lives, or face difficult challenges of loss at different stages. I welcome the opportunity to help you explore unhealthy patterns and unresolved issues from childhood, examine how this might be playing out in present life and help you decide how you want to shape your future. I truly believe you have the power within you. I will help you bring out these strengths to develop better understanding of yourself and the skills to take action to lead you to the future you desire.
I am Psychodynamically trained, utilizing traditional theory to reflect on how your childhood attachments may affect who you are today. I also work through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in moments of crisis and heightened anxiety. I believe in the unconditional positive relationship of Humanistic Therapy, and also specialize in creative work in Depth psychology, such as sand tray therapy, dream analysis, meditation/mindfulness and imagery work. Looking at your situation from this unique somatic perspective can offer new insight not experienced through traditional talk therapy. This is a good way to amplify your therapy.
